The George Trainor Holiday Classic

2015 Tournament Registration is now closed.

A tournament for all Recreational Hockey where players are First.

I cordially invite you and your team to participate in the 11th Annual George Trainor Holiday Classic hockey tournament in Charlottetown from December 27th to December 29th, 2015. The tournament will be hosted by the Sherwood Parkdale Rural Minor Hockey Association (SPRMHA) and the Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association (CMHA).

The tournament will offer competition for boys teams from Novice to Midget and girls teams from Atom to Midget at the 'A' (PEI)  or 'C' (NB & NS) level. Co-ed teams are welcome. All teams are guaranteed three games in divisional play.

If your team wishes to attend please return the tournament application form and registration fee of $600.00 (no post-dated cheques) no later than December 1st, 2015. Any registration received after this date but before December 8th will be charged an additional $25 late fee ($625.00). Teams will be registered for the tournament upon receipt of the tournament application and registration fee. Cheques can be made payable to 'George Trainor Holiday Classic' and mailed to:

We will be hosting a Shootout Competition for skaters and goalies. This is an individual competition with a dedicated ice time. Each player will have to register online with a fee of $5.00 to be paid on December 27th at CARI. All players wishing to participate must be registered with a team taking part in the George Trainor Holiday Classic tournament. Each player will get a minimum of 3 attempts and there will be a winner for each division. We are planning an ice time for each division Novice, Atom and the Peewee. The deadline for registration is December 24th.
